Performance analysis and change
SouthernConnections begins by designing for change. That approach has many names. We call it "flexible design."
Flexible design makes it possible to respond to Web users and business trends by making prudent, affordable changes in the site's appearance and services.
Performance analysis tells us which changes are likely to be most productive. That analysis is a six-step process.
First, we examine how Web users respond to the site.
Second, we project whether current user response will meet the site's business goals.
Third, we indicated changes that could improve site performance.
Fourth, we attach a cost/performance ratio to each potential change.
Fifth, we recommend changes that we conclude are productive enough to merit the required investment. There may be several items, or nothing, on that list.
Sixth, we project the long-term performance of the site as it is, and with recommended changes (if any).
Southern Connections analyzes server logs and other data, all gathered without intruding on the privacy of your site's users.
We use a variety of tools and techniques to meet audit and other requirements.
Change is most often dictated by business conditions, rather than by site performance itself. The site must be changed to make it possible for clients to take full advantage of opportunities that were not foreseen when the site was created.
Like a store front or a factory, the site is a container for business strategies. SouthernConnections designs for agility, so that the site can turn on the same dime with the rest of any rapidly changing enterprise.
Analysis of Web site performance is a SouthernConnections' contribution to client decisions regarding what profitable directions to take.
SouthernConnections goes more than the extra mile to provide its clients with strategies and solutions that work.
