Email announcing that Nordic designer Lasse Klein had taken another step toward production of his alien abduction lamp arrived while I was watching Crusade on Joost.

Klein's email said "The Alien Abduction Lamp is finally moving from concept to product, and some important decision have to be made."

He asked me (and some large number of other people, of course) to take the kind of survey often used to learn what a product's market wants.

I hope to give one abduction lamp to each of my sons, although the lamp may be more George Rankin's kind of present than Jack's.
