Palin support fading on the religious right
Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin's mainstream support is fading away and uneasiness about her continues to emerge on the religious right.
Among voters in general, a Washington Post-ABC News Poll conducted September 27-29 found that six in 10 believe she lacks the experience to serve as president.
Her support on the religious right, Southern Baptists in particular, was never as rock solid as the McCain campaign wished to believe.
